It was a memorable day, full of exciting events and positive emotions. Citizens at any age, from children to senior, gathered together to participate in Environmental Picnic organized by Municipal Environmental Żywiec Centre. The Mayor of the City of Zywiec welcomed all the guests. "Frania Recycling, Four Elements and Ecodancing" performance by the Katarynka Theatre delighted the audience.
On Żywiec market square many attractions and interesting stalls prepared by various environmental organizations were placed. Contests, workshops, plant exchange …..and many other activities attracted crowds. Children took part in ecological challenges. Winners of the contest for the "Most Beautiful Żywiec Garden and Balcony - 2023 edition" were honored with prizes. Active Kids invited participants to dance. During the event discussion panel "Greenery in the city" took place – it enriched the picnic with factual contents. Participants left Żywiec City Main Square holding flowers, souvenirs and prizes.
